What Materials Are Used in Plastic Sleeve Boxes?
2024-11-19 10:30:28

As a mainstream reusable logistics packaging tool in the automotive industry, plastic sleeve boxes are widely used in the automotive, logistics, rental, electronics, and plastic mold industries. Honeycomb board sleeve boxes are lightweight, reusable, impact-resistant, high in load-bearing capacity, and foldable for space-saving storage. These green and eco-friendly packaging containers are widely used overseas and are being rapidly adopted in China, especially by car manufacturers, logistics providers, and parts suppliers. Honeycomb sleeve boxes are gradually replacing large disposable cartons, wooden boxes, metal crates, and cages. With standardized dimensions, they are ideal for use in trucks and containers, for both road and sea transportation, and are suitable for automated handling processes.

Honeycomb panels are high-strength, impact-resistant boards developed using German technology and advanced domestic production techniques. The honeycomb structure ensures uniform stress distribution without directional bias. These panels are moisture-proof, mold-resistant, aging-resistant, corrosion-resistant, non-toxic, pollution-free, and recyclable. Material thickness typically ranges from 2mm to 12mm. Common board types include: honeycomb board, corrugated board, cross-ribbed (X-type) board, and S-type board.

A typical plastic sleeve box consists of three components: a plastic pallet, a honeycomb sleeve (the number of sleeves can be customized), and a plastic lid. The top and bottom lids are usually made of HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), and the sleeve panels are made of PP (Polypropylene). The overall height of the box can be adjusted by selecting different types of sleeves. Common standard sizes for honeycomb sleeve boxes include 1200×1000MM, 1200×800MM, and 1100×1100MM. Box height can be customized according to customer requirements.

Sleeve board thickness is generally 10–12mm, and the internal dimensions are typically 50–60mm less than the external dimensions
